Screenshots
The application has been developed in order to be viewed with the iPhone in landscape mode, after the user turns the device on its side. The design is simple, and based around usability, enabling users to easily be able to use the application.
Customers of the application emphasis on the efficiency of the application, enabling the user to remain calm and to complete the breathing techniques it provides.
Social Phobia
Screenshots
The application uses a more iPhone ‘feel’ to its design, using strong fonts and gradients that are very common with the design of Apple software packages. A consistent menu is available at the bottom of the application throughout the period where the user is using the application, allowing the user to listen, configure, connect and support.
Although the design is efficient, customers talk about its lack of information and features, reducing its effectiveness with help with social anxiety.
ICounselor
Screenshots
Like the Social Phobia app, iCounselor uses a similar look and feel to its design, with gradients and buttons in similar places to other applications (eg. ‘Back’ in the top left). The application does not have a consistent navigation, which may be one of its disadvantages.
Customer’s emphasis on how easy the application is to use, which may be down to buttons being in places which users are familiar with. The application uses good cognitive behaviour therapy skills, and seems very helpful for its users.
